In other news, Liam has been chose by his teacher to be the Super Star (otherwise known as Student of the Week) for next week. He brought home a big poster board, and will put it together this weekend - they have a wall dedicated to the weekly student poster, with a small table under it for the student to share any special treasures they have. He's pretty excited - I am too, because it is done on merit (though every student will get their chance), so to be the 2nd one picked by the teachers is pretty good! He's having a blast at school, and told me yesterday that he wishes there wasn't any weekend...I'm not so sure the teachers would agree with that request...;)
I've been working on unpacking more boxes, and Phil will spend this weekend at the old house again. I can't wait for this weekend to be done, because then after the carpet cleaning on Monday, we will no longer have to worry about it. And he can go back to being a member of the family again! Then he can help unpack boxes here!
So, on that note, I will leave you with a few photos from this year's Keith Urban concert. It was the Friday before the movers came, and we were in no mood to be going, but we bought the tickets months ago. So, we went...and had a great time. The kids stayed home with Kathy (one of the gals that works at the school) and we rode the train to the Rose Garden. Great idea, in theory - but after the concert, it was INSANE...absolutely packed. Then it got stuck downtown because someone wouldn't stop leaning on the door and the driver missed the signal. Then it got stopped at the zoo/tunnel stop because some drunk guy started something with some woman and the boyfriend tried to kick his @$$, and then we had to wait for security to arrive...Anyway - the concert ROCKED. It was awesome, and I was actually able to get some decent pictures this year. Here ya go! Oh, BTW - the opening act (and first photo) was Little Big Town:
